HAMPTON, N.H. - New Hampshire authorities proclaimed a crisis cautioning at Hampton Ocean side Wednesday morning because of "very high oceans and flooding."

Sea Blvd. was briefly shut around 10:30 a.m.

"If it's not too much trouble, keep away from the area. Assuming that you live in the space we suggest you briefly leave the region for higher ground," Hampton police said.

A departure cover was opened in the exercise center at Hampton Foundation.

Rising waters should have been visible in a few areas close to the Hampton Ocean side strip.

Firemen swam through an overwhelmed road to help an occupant out of their home to somewhere safe and secure.

Stacey Hughes came to the beach front to get a glance at the strong waves.

"I was simply strolling toward the entry and it was coming at me. I was like 'Wow that resembled film stuff not too far off," Hughes said.

In adjacent Salisbury, a few region of the Massachusetts ocean side town are blocked, including Ocean side Street close to Reservation Street. Ship and Walk streets are overflowed and obstructed.

"Kindly don't endeavor to cruise all over blockades or through standing water as it very well may be a lot further than it looks and could cripple your vehicle," Salisbury police posted.
